VCT Masters Madrid is on the horizon. The first VALORANT Masters event of 2024 will feature 8 teams competing for the first international title. Set to run from the 14th of March to the 24th, the gauntlet will see attendance from 2 representatives from each region.

The Path To Madrid

To make it to the first VALORANT Masters, is no small feat. To put it into perspective: each regional league boasts 11 teams in 2024. All 11 teams compete in the three stage Kickoff.

Split into two groups of 4 and a 3, the top contender from each group, made it to Playoffs. The second seed from each, receives a second lease on life in the tournaments at Play-Ins. There, one of the three makes it through to join the three in Playoffs, for a total of 4 per region that make it from groups.

Finally, in Playoffs, teams will play in a single-elimination bracket to determine the two teams to qualify to Madrid.

The winner of Kickoff will earn an additional 3 Championship points for their victory, to be tallied up before Champions.

VCT Masters Madrid 2024: All Qualified Teams

The path to Madrid began with Kickoff: a domestic tournament held in each of the four regions – Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China. The top 2 teams, the winner and the runner-up from each kickoff event qualifies for VCT Masters Madrid.

Team Vitality CEO Neo: "For Us to be a Global Leader Means Being a Contender at EWC"

Team Vitality remains one of the most influential and well-known esports organizations to date. The Paris-based org fields over 20 esports teams in various esports, though their immensely impressive results in Counter-Strike take center stage.  Being one of the organizations present at Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris, we managed to speak with Fabien "Neo" Devide, Co-Founder and CEO of the Hive, just after an interview with Mike McCabe, COO of the Esports World Cup Foundation, at the opening press conference at EWC. Neo provided a ton of insight into the organization's participation at this year's edition of EWC in Paris. He expressed his desire for the org to perform to the highest standards, but also highlighted that rivalry is key to grow the ecosystem. Additionally, Neo gave strong opinions on the growth of mobile esports following last year's Vitality's takeover and merger with Indonesian side Bigetron, stressing the need for innovation and following ideas in the east, as much as the west.
