It is without a doubt that the Western Europe DPC  is the strongest when it comes to the competitive Dota 2 scene. The Western Europe DPC is also home to several titans like Team Liquid, the current Ti Champions- Tundra Esports, Gaimin Gladiators and much more fan favourites. With a combined amount of five Aegies, it is a cut-throat region.

Cutthroat Enough?

With the competition near its climax, teams are still fighting to secure the last available seat for The Berlin Major. Team Liquid is the only team in the region with five wins and one loss. Due to their formidable lead, Team Liquid became the first team in the region to qualify for The Berlin Major. Soon enough, Gaimin Gladiators and Tundra Esports received their tickets as well. The tiebreakers series could be on the table for the remaining teams.

It is a five-way battle for the final seat of The Berlin Major. One team will be going to Berlin, while the remaining four teams will have to go through another intense decider to see which two teams will get to stay in Division I and which two teams will get relegated. Currently, Nigma Galaxy will face Gaimin Gladiators.  Ooredoo Thunders will be up against Team Liquid, and Monaspa will face Tundra Esports.

Thoughts on the Competition

The current Ti Champion and Tundra Esports offlaner,  Neta "33" Shapira, pointed out the toughness of the region in the recent Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski stream. He stated that even Division II in Western Europe DPC is intense compared to other regions.
