DreamLeague Season 23 has concluded and Team Falcons emerged as the champions. This trophy marks their fourth tournament win for the 2024 Dota 2 professional season.

Team Falcons had some great tournaments run this season, but at DreamLeague Season 23, they had a hiccup. Nevertheless, Team Falcons returned stronger for their grand final series and took a clean sweep against Gaimin Gladiators.

DreamLeague Season 23 was the tournament following PGL Wallachia Season 1. Team Falcons played in both of these tournaments. At PGL Wallachia, Team Falcons had stand-in on their roster, but they survived until the final day. Unfortunately, they got defeated, securing a third-place finish. Following their tournament run, the team's support player acknowledged they made some in-game mistakes and noted that the team would work on them.

Team Falcons did indeed deliver on their word. The following day, when the team played their first series in the DreamLeague Season 23 groups, they took a clean series against their first opponents. In addition, Team Falcons did not drop a single series during their group stage run. However, they ran into a hiccup during their playoffs.

As the new patch update dropped in the middle of the tournament run, teams had to strategise their drafts, adjusting to the new meta. However, some teams adapted very quickly to the patch. Gaimin Gladiators was the first team that figured out how things worked in patch 7.36.

Although Team Falcons also managed to figure it out, they were a little behind than Gaimin. Thus, when both teams met in their first upper bracket finals, Gaimin took a quick series off Team Falcons, sending them to the lower bracket. The series does not even go an hour mark. After eliminating the BetBoom Team in their low-bracket series, Team Falcons took the only ticket left to the grand finals, avenging their upper-bracket finals defeat.

Team Falcons did not fall for any of Gaimin's shenanigans in the grand final series. They drafted their comfort heroes and were dominant in their gameplay. With their DreamLeague Season 23 victory, Team Falcons took home 300,000 USD in prize winnings and 6000 EPT points.

It has only been six months since the formation of this team. Team Falcons has secured two podium finishes and multiple trophies during this team. Overall, Team Falcons had around 1.5 million USD in their total prize-winnings. Their dominant run throughout the year and recent victory at the DreamLeague Season 23 make Team Falcons the clear favourites for the upcoming Riyadh Masters 2024. The only question is: will they meet their match at the Riyadh Masters 2024?
