T1 Unveils Most Ambitious Branch Yet in Gangnam with Trophy Room and Premium Dining
T1 Entertainment and Sports have announced a soft opening on October 3 for the third branch of the T1 Base Camp (TBC) — their next-generation PC café brand. Situated in Gangnam, Seoul, it follows the first and second branches in Hongdae, Seoul and Busan, Busan.
The League of Legends goliath has long dominated the South Korean esports market and looks now to expand their reach with their newest endeavour.
T1 Launches Third Base Camp Branch
Seeking to improve on the existing visitor experience with a ‘more evolved T1 brand experience space’, the space stands at 476-pyeong (16,937.6 sq. ft.) and is located adjacent to the T1 HQ.
“It translates T1’s overwhelming achievements and the majesty of its dynasty in the esports scene into a grand and sophisticated space combined with futuristic design.”
Like the other branches, the PC Zone will include 24-hour operation times, equipped with high-end PCs (AMD Ryzen 9800X3D + RTX 5070/5090 + 500hz Samsung OLED QHD).
Screens installed throughout the compound along with dedicated spaces encourage T1 fans to congregate and host viewing parties and other esports-related events within the space.
Trophy Room and the First Esports Premium Dining Experience
Within the Gangnam Branch, a trophy room has been constructed to relive T1’s League of Legends history and their many championship lifts. Featuring among the historical recounting will be an audio zone, player’s handprints, uniforms, and a legacy zone. A kinetic art of Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok in his signature pose will also be exhibited.
Undoubtedly, the biggest news from this launch will be the new premium dining space — ‘Hide on Bouche’. Led by the same head chef who is responsible for the meals for the T1 players, the space will include a full lineup of options from café items and desserts to Western choices such as steaks and pizzas, cocktails, and beers.
T1 Flagship Store to Relocate
Notably, the Gangnam branch will receive the relocated T1 Flagship store, previously located at the T1 HQ. Among the expected upgrades:
- Fitting rooms that double as photo zones
- ‘CREATIVE LAB’ offering fans custom marking services
- T1 Gacha Machine Zones distributed throughout the compound
