SteelSeries has announced a limited edition CS2 Dragon Lore collection featuring a wireless mouse and QcK XXL mousepad. The collection goes live July 1st.

The Dragon “LORE”

Part of the Cobblestone Collection, the AWP | Dragon Lore remains one of the most coveted skins in Counter-Strike history. If you follow Counter-Strike esports, you’ll notice it is the skin of choice for many top AWPers.

While the skin is undeniably beautiful, its true selling point has always been its rarity. Originally available as an extremely rare drop from completing Operation missions, the odds of unboxing one stood at a mere 0.026%. The only other way to obtain it was through Souvenir Packages dropped during tournaments when Cobblestone was part of the active duty map pool — something that ended back in 2018.

This rarity has turned the skin into a digital treasure, with only a select few ever managing to secure one. Today, it commands an eye-watering price tag, with the cheapest listings starting around $5,000.

While acquiring the skin now is nearly impossible, the newly launched limited edition Dragon Lore mouse offers fans a more accessible way to own a piece of Counter-Strike history — and at a much lower cost.

The Third Collaboration: When to Buy and Pricing

The CS2 Dragon Lore Collection marks the sixth collaboration between SteelSeries and Counter-Strike. Previous collaborations brought us the limited edition CS:GO Howl, Neon Rider, Neo-Noir, Fade and Hyper beast collections.

Like the past releases, the latest Collection will only be available for a limited time. It includes two products:

The mouse is built on the SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless chassis but features a reengineered body and redesigned trigger buttons exclusive to this collection. Priced at $149.99, it carries a $40 premium over the standard model’s $109.99 price.

Meanwhile, the SteelSeries QcK XXL mousepad — one of the most popular pads in esports — makes perfect sense here, especially given the current deskpad trend. The Dragon Lore edition is priced at $49.99, about $15 more than the regular version.

The complete Dragon Lore Collection is available for pre-order now and will officially launch on July 1st.
