StarLadder to host the last Counter-Strike Major of 2025 in Budapest

StarLadder has announced it will be hosting the second Counter-Strike 2 Major of 2025, set to take place across November and December. By the hand of StarLadder, Budapest will play hosts to the final Major clash of the year as the best teams in CS head to Hungary for what promises to be an event to remember.

StarLadder Budapest Major 2025: The Details

The second Major of 2025 will see culmination of an entire year of top-level Counter-Strike head to Budapest, where the tournament will run from November 24th to December 14th across all stages. There, the best 32 teams in the scene will compete for a total prize pool of $1.25 million, as well as one of the biggest honors in Counter-Strike: a Major trophy.

All-star Venues

The early stages of the StarLadder Major will take place at the MTK Sportpark in Budapest. The recently renovated venue has seating capacity for 2,000 spectators, and looks bound to offer a vibrant atmosphere to kick things off.

For the Playoffs, which will take place on December 11th-14th, the remaining teams will move on to the MVM Dome. This top-tier stadium-like venue has been designed to elevate the fan experience to new heights through cutting-edge production capabilities and a capacity to seat 20,000 people, ensuring Counter-Strike esports closes out the year in style.

If you'd like to attend the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, then you better hurry. Tickets to catch the action live at either venue are already on sale.

  • Stage 1-3 tickets can be found here for as low as €10.
  • Playoffs tickets at the MVM Dome are available here for as low as €70.
