The European League qualifier for Six Jönköping Major is currently underway and four of the 10 teams will receive invitations to this prestigious event. After the first five matches, no less than eight teams could still secure one of the top four spots.

The competition started on September 12 and will end on October 31. Its format is round-robin, which means that every single team will play nine matches and will be thoroughly tested against the other participants.

Some of the teams that had excellent results at Six Berling Major 2022 have demonstrated their strength yet again. But others are currently struggling and will need to do better in their last four matches if they want to qualify for the upcoming Major, which will take place between November 21-27.

Participants, Current Standings, and Favorites

Stage 3 of the European League is attended by strong teams like Rogue, Wolves Esports, and G2 Esports. All of these teams finished in the top-8 at Six Berlin Major. That tournament was won by Rogue, who are now leading in the qualifier for the next Major.

At the moment, the standings table looks like this:

  • 1st place: Rogue: 11 points
  • 2nd place: Wolves Esports: 10 points
  • 3rd place: Team BDS: 10 points
  • 4th place: Heroic: 10 points
  • 5th place: MNM Gaming: 8 points
  • 6th place: Outsiders: 8 points
  • 7th place: Natus Vincere: 7 points
  • 8th place: G2 Esports: 7 points
  • 9th place: Team Secret: 4 points
  • 10th place: TT9 Esports: 0 points

Despite their results in 2022 and their formidable roster, Rogue lost two matches in overtime. One against Natus Vincere and another against MNM Gaming. This has kept the battle for 1st place open. The top four teams are now very close to each other and the final results will be decided by the next rounds of matches.

The teams that are expected to triumph are Rogue, Wolves, MNM, and Heroic.
