Six Invitational 2024 Group Stage Results and Playoffs Preview

The Six Invitational 2024, the most prestigious Rainbow Six Siege tournament of the year, is underway in São Paulo, Brazil. The event features 20 teams from all around the world, competing for a prize pool of $3 million USD and the title of World Champions. The Group Stage has concluded, with 16 teams advancing to the Playoffs and four teams being eliminated.

Group Stage results:

The Group Stage was played from February 13 to 17, in a single round-robin format. Each group had five teams, seeded based on their ranking in the Global Standings. The bottom team in each group was eliminated, while the remaining teams advanced to the Playoffs.

The first-placed teams from each group advanced to the Upper Bracket Round 2, while the second and third-placed teams advanced to the Upper Bracket Round 1. The fourth-placed teams will start from the Lower Bracket Round 1. All matches were best-of-three (Bo3).

Group A

G2 led Group A with a flawless 4-0 record without dropping a single map. DarkZero and Ninjas in Pyjamas closely followed them. FearX clung to 4th place, while Geekay Esports were eliminated.

Group B

SSG, Faze and Wolves took the top 3 spots in Group B. All of them finished with a 3-0 record. Team Bliss managed to clinch the 4th place. Dplus got eliminated after a dismal 0-4 record. They did not manage to win a single map.

Group C

Group C saw Virtus.pro, w7m and Team Liquid make their way into the Upper Bracket of Playoffs after a very competitive group stage. Bleed Esports managed to fight their way into 4th place, securing the lower bracket for playoffs. M80 were eliminated from group C.

Group D

Soniqs also had a dominant run, topping Group D at 4-0 without dropping a single map. FURY and LOS followed them. Team Falcons secured 4th place in the group, while SCARZ was eliminated.

Playoffs preview

Qualified teams will play the Six Invitational Playoffs from February 19 to 25 in a double-elimination bracket. All matches will be best-of-three (Bo3), except for the Grand Final, which will be best-of-five (Bo5). The last six remaining teams will play in front of an audience at the Arena Ibirapuera, where they will crown the new World Champions.
