Rainbow Six Siege has finally launched a new feature that allows players to buy and sell in-game skins from other players. The Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace is a web-based platform that lets players exchange items for R6 Credits, the game’s premium currency.

The Marketplace is now open to all Rainbow Six Siege players, as long they have completed their 2-Factor Authentication.

What is the Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace?

The Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace is a way for players to customize their operators and weapons with skins, charms, headgear, and uniforms. The Marketplace allows players to browse, buy, and sell items from other players as well as from Ubisoft’s official inventory. Players can use R6 Credits to purchase items or earn R6 Credits by selling their own items.

The Marketplace is designed to offer more variety and accessibility for players who want to collect and trade items. Players can find rare and exclusive items that are no longer available in the game or sell their unwanted items for R6 Credits. The Marketplace also helps players discover new items and styles that suit their preferences and playstyles.

How to access the Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace?

The Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace is available through PC and mobile devices. Players can access the Marketplace by visiting rainbow6.com/marketplace and logging in with their Ubisoft account. Players can also link their game account to their Marketplace account to sync their inventory and transactions.

The Marketplace can only be accessed via browser for now and does not exist in Ubisoft Connect.

How to buy and sell items on the Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace?

Buying and selling items on the Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace is easy and secure. Players can browse items by category, rarity, price, or popularity. Players can also search for specific items by name, operator, or weapon.

To buy an item, players need to have enough R6 Credits in their account. R6 Credits can be purchased with real money or earned by selling items.

To sell an item, players need to have the item in their game inventory. Players can set their own price for their items, or use the suggested price based on the market value.

Once a player buys or sells an item, the transaction is processed by Ubisoft’s secure system. The buyer will receive the item in their game inventory, and the seller will receive the R6 Credits in their Marketplace account. Both parties will also receive a confirmation email and a receipt for their transaction.

Currently, as it stands, Ubisoft does not allow the trade of every skin in the game (such as DLC skins like the Gemstone collection) and is limited to a select majority. But it should cover some of the most popular skins, including the Black Ice and the Glacier.

New items will be added on a seasonal basis. Item availability is subject to change without any prior notice.

When selling items, Ubisoft will leverage a transaction fee of 10% of the sale amount.

How to check transactions on the Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace?

Players can check their transactions on the Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace by visiting their profile page. The profile page shows the player’s balance, inventory, and transaction history. Players can also filter their transactions by date, type, status, or item. Players can also view the details of each transaction, such as the item name, price, buyer, seller, and date.
