The group stages for the Six Invitational was held from February 7th to 11th behind closed doors. Out of the 20 teams taking part, 4 teams were eliminated, and the other 16 moved on to the playoffs. For more information about the event, click here.

Each team is given 4 points for a victory, and no points for a loss. However, if the map is pushed into overtime, the winning team is awarded 3 points, while the losing team is given a single point for managing to make a comeback in regulation time. All matches were a Best Of 3.

Group A:

Consisting of KOI, G2, w7m, SSG and Elevate, this group was easy sailing for KOI as they managed to win 3 out of 4 games, and advanced straight to the Upper Bracket Quarter Finals. Elevate lost all 4 games, and were eliminated, while G2 and w7m moved onto the next round. SSG were 4th in the group, so only managed to make it to the Lower Bracket.

Group B:

Group B was MNM, Soniqs, Wolves, Liquid and Dire Wolves. MNM had a dominant run, winning all 4 games to take their spot in the Upper Bracket Quarter Finals. Soniqs were close behind with 3 wins. Liquid only managed 1 win, but it was enough to push them to the next round, albeit in the Lower Bracket. Dire Wolves could not muster a single victory as they were eliminated.

Group C:

Probably the most competitive group out of them all. Filled with LOS + oNe, BDS, Oxygen, Astralis and Cyclops. LOS + oNe won 4 games, but 3 of them were pushed into overtime. They went directly to the Upper Bracket Quarter FInals. BDS and Oxygen followed behind them with 2 wins each. While Astralis barely scraped by with one win and 3 overtime losses. Cyclops were the ones to get eliminated, with one overtime win, and 3 losses.

Group D:

Consisting of M80, Heroic, DarkZero, Faze and Team Secret, this group was also quite competitive. M80 managed 3 wins, 2 of them in Overtime, and 1 Overtime loss to claim the top spot for the Upper Bracket Quarter FInals. Heroic and DarkZero had quite the runs, winning 2 and 3(OT) respectively to get into the upper bracket. Faze had a comfortable lead on Team Secret to get into the Lower Bracket, while the latter were eliminated.

KOI, MNM, LOS + oNe and M80 will move straight to the Upper Bracket Quarter Finals. But the rest of the qualified teams will have to play against each other in Round 1 of the Upper and Lower Brackets.
