Riot Games has finally lifted the curtain on the newest addition to Valorant’s diverse roster of agents. Tejo, an Initiator from Colombia, is set to make his explosive debut as Agent 27. After weeks of cryptic teasers and speculation, players can now dive into his kit, which has the potential to shake up the game’s meta.

First Look at Tejo

The teasers for Tejo began weeks ago, leaving fans guessing about the identity and role of the mysterious Agent. On December 9, 2024, Riot dropped a short video showcasing Tejo’s dramatic entrance: leaving his post and leaping from an aircraft.

This marks the first South American Agent to join Valorant since Raze, who was introduced at launch. As an Initiator, Tejo’s abilities are designed to disrupt enemy positions, making him a powerful asset on the attacking side while presenting unique challenges on defense.

Tejo’s Ability Kit

Tejo’s toolkit emphasizes reconnaissance and area control. Here’s a detailed breakdown of his abilities:

  • Special Delivery: Tejo equips a sticky grenade that adheres to the first surface it hits. The grenade explodes, concussing enemies in its radius. Alternate fire allows the grenade to bounce once before sticking, adding versatility to its use.
  • Stealth Drone: Tejo deploys a tactical drone that scouts enemy positions. While under player control, the drone can fire a pulse to suppress and reveal opponents, offering critical intel during engagements.
  • Guided Salvo: With this ability, Tejo equips an advanced targeting system. Players can select up to two map locations to launch autonomous missiles that detonate upon arrival, disrupting entrenched enemies.
  • Ultimate – Armageddon: Tejo’s Ultimate is a game-changer. It enables players to call in a devastating orbital strike. By selecting a strike origin and end point, players unleash a wave of explosions, forcing enemies to reposition or face certain elimination.

Tejo is set to go live on the 8th as part of Valorant’s Episode 10 Act 1 update, kicking off 2025 with a bang.

With his dynamic abilities and South American flair, Tejo promises to be a thrilling addition to the roster. With his release imminent, players worldwide are eager to harness Tejo’s disruptive potential.

Is VALORANT Crossplay? PC, PS5, Xbox & Mobile Explained (2026)

VALORANT does not offer crossplay between PC and console. This means that PC players can only match and play against other PC players, and console players (PS5 and Xbox) players can only match and play against other console players. While there is no crossplay in VALORANT, the game does support cross progression, which means that your account, skins, and any other form of progress carry from one platform to the other (from PC to console, and vice versa).
