Former Counter-Strike pro and FPS legend Michael "Shroud" Grzesiek has announced a Charity Fragathon for January 2025.

Throughout the month, Shroud will stream with a frag counter, and every frag will add $1 to the total amount. Additionally, subs and donations will act as multipliers, increasing the per-frag contribution. He will also invite his friends to his LAN setup (in his own home) to donate “frags” and further boost the total. During the entire month of January, Shroud’s IRL streams will also generate money for charity.

At the end of January, the total amount, combining the frags and all the money raised from subs, donations, and bits, will be donated to charity.

Shroud Pays Tribute to His Father

The Fragathon is Shroud’s way of paying tribute to his father, Tomasz Grzesiek, who introduced him to gaming at an early age. "Papa Shroud" proudly supported his son’s esports journey and rise to fame as one of the biggest names in FPS games.

Unfortunately, Tomasz Grzesiek passed away in August 2023 after battling lung cancer for several months. The upcoming Fragathon combines charity with Shroud’s gaming excellence, serving as a heartfelt tribute to his father in the most "gamer" way possible.

Make sure to tune into Shroud’s Twitch or YouTube to support the legend in raising awareness and money for a good cause.
