Overwatch Season 1 Conquest Event: Challenges, Rewards, and More

Overwatch Season 1 Conquest Event: Challenges, Rewards, and More

Overwatch entered a new era with the launch of Season 1: Rise of Talon on February 10, bringing with it a brand-new event: Conquest. Players can now choose between two factions - Overwatch and Talon - and complete faction-specific challenges to earn rewards through the weekly event pass. There will also be an additional reward at the end of each week for players of the faction that completes the most event passes. Below is everything we currently know about the event, including its challenges and rewards.

How Does the Talon vs Overwatch Event Work?

Conquest is a five-week-long event in which you must pledge allegiance to a faction each week and complete a series of in-game challenges to earn rewards. Once a faction is chosen, the challenges become available, offering points that progress the weekly event pass.

Each week, you will have access to one weekly challenge and four daily challenges. Completing the weekly challenge awards 300 Reputation points, while each daily challenge grants 100 Reputation points.

Rewards are unlocked automatically as points accumulate, with each reward costing 175 Reputation points. Since you can earn only 400 points per day through daily challenges (700 if you include the weekly challenge) but need 875 points to complete each faction's weekly pass, it will take at least two days to finish.

After finishing a week's worth of challenges, you have two options: switch factions to complete that faction's pass and earn its exclusive rewards, or remain with your original faction to progress the Prestige Pass and unlock loot boxes.
