Adding to their 10th anniversary celebrations, Overwatch has released a brand‑new Legendary 10‑Year Anniversary Loot Box that rewards players with four Legendary skins from previous seasons. The surprise addition arrives just two days after the Overwatch team marked ten years since the game's original release on May 24, 2016.

Blizzard kicked off the anniversary celebrations with an in‑game Anniversary Event on May 12, offering players a wide range of rewards, including event‑exclusive Anniversary Loot Boxes and various cosmetics. Now, the developers appear to have doubled down on their generosity by giving players a chance to earn four additional Legendary skins.

How to Get Overwatch 10-Year Anniversary Legendary Loot Box

Overwatch players can claim their Legendary 10‑Year Anniversary Loot Box simply by logging into the game. After updating to the latest patch, which was released just a few hours ago, all players will receive the special item, along with the milestone rewards for Anniversary Event Week 2.

The loot box guarantees four Legendary skins from past seasons. While Blizzard has not revealed the full pool, it includes over 500 Legendary skins from both the in‑game Shop and the Hero Gallery. As a result, some (if not all four) of the skins you unbox could even be Shop skins that would normally require real currency to purchase.

Overwatch 10-Year Anniversary Legendary Loot Box Rewards Four Legendary Skins

The Overwatch community initially expressed disappointment with the Anniversary Event's offerings. However, the special Legendary Loot Box added today seems to have excited many fans. Several players have shared their unboxed rewards on social media, with many even receiving iconic Shop skins.

As always, the drops depend on luck. Some players received more common Legendary skins instead of rare ones.
