Despite the dwindling viewership of the LTA North, the league has decided to push the start times of matches during the Americas Stage back by two hours. With the first LTA cross-conference tournament LTA being played in Sao Paulo, the new schedule will favor the Brazilian crowd, while North American viewers situated in the west coast will have to tune in during the morning.

In an attempt to soften the blow, the LTA also announced Icon drops for viewers who catch the action live, as well as a Block Party in Los Angeles for the Americas Stage Finals.

New LTA Americas Stage Start Times

Though the initial plan for the first cross-conference LTA tournament was to have the first match of each day start at 1 pm PT, the LTA has announced a last minute change of schedule. Now, all match days will begin at 11 am PT instead, with the Quarterfinals starting this Saturday, February 15th.

The updated LTA Americas Stage schedule will look as follows:

  • Quarterfinals:
    • 100 Thieves vs paiN Gaming [Saturday, February 15th - 11 am PT / 8 pm CET]
    • Leviatan vs FlyQuest [Saturday, February 15th - 2 pm PT / 11 pm CET]
    • Cloud9 vs LOUD [Sunday, February 16th -  11 am PT / 8 pm CET]
    • Isurus Estral vs Team Liquid [Sunday, February 16th - 11 am PT / 11 pm CET]
  • Semifinals:
    • TBD vs TBD [Saturday, February 22nd - 11 am PT / 8 pm CET]
    • TBD vs TBD [Saturday, February 22nd - 2 pm PT / 11 pm CET]
  • Grand Final:
    • TBD vs TBD [Sunday, February 23rd - 11 am PT / 8 pm CET]

LTA Americas Stage Icon Drops

In an attempt to correct course after a disappointing start to the LTA Season as far as viewership is concerned, the Americas Stage will offer LTA Icons for anyone watching the games live. These drops will include an LTA North Icon and an LTA South Icon that you can use in League of Legends.

Built around the Welcome to Noxus theme, as well as the new Reckoning Pits map coming to Arena, the LTA Finals Block Party will allow viewers to catch all of the action from the Grand Finals along with the LTA North Analyst's Desk for a more immersive experience.
