Now that all four LTA South teams have been eliminated, the Split 1 Americas Stage of the LTA will see the top four teams from the North Conference face off in the tournament's Semifinals. Of the four remaining teams, only one will be left standing in the end to represent the Americas at First Stand, the game's new international tournament.

Can the Americas Stage Semifinals save the LTA from the latest drop in viewership? Tune in to the catch the games live on the LoL Esports website for a chance to earn LTA Icon drops, starting this Saturday, February 22nd.

LTA Split 1 Americas Stage Semifinals: Odds and Predictions

100 Thieves vs FlyQuest [Saturday, February 22nd - 11 am PT / 8 pm CET]

Can 100 Thieves pull off the miracle run? During the team's run in the LTA North, 100 Thieves disposed of Disguised without much trouble before starting to turn heads with consecutive wins over two other LTA semifinalists in Team Liquid and Cloud9. Now, the thieves have before them none other than the reigning LCS Champions of FlyQuest; a team that continues to look as sharp as they did during their Worlds 2024 Playoffs run.

Despite a commendable first place finish in the LTA North during Split 1, 100 Thieves comes into the matchup as the clear underdog. The squad has no doubt evolved from their chaotic displays at the end of last year, but there's still ground to be covered before this young thieves squad catches up to FlyQuest in terms of macro, experience, and sheer creativity on the rift.

Odds for 100 Thieves vs FlyQuest:

  • GGBet Odds: 100 Thieves 3.8 - 1.25 FlyQuest
  • Strafe Esports Prediction: FlyQuest

Team Liquid vs Cloud9 [Saturday, February 22nd - 2 pm PT / 11 pm CET]

The same Team Liquid that went undefeated in the LCS last year now shows up to the Semifinals looking like what may well be the weakest squad out of the four remaining teams. Umti has struggled to set the pace of the game for his team from the jungle, and has looked mechanically suspect at times. Meanwhile, Impact and CoreJJ's veteran impact (no pun intended) is beginning to show signs of erosion.

On the other side of the matchup we have an exciting and highly confident Cloud9 team that shook the LTA by taking a victory over FlyQuest over in the North Conference. The additions of the young South Korean stars of Thanatos and Loki, coupled with Zven's leadership, have really sparked life back into an old LCS-favorite. Now, Cloud9 should have no problems getting past a Team Liquid squad that was the only team from the North to drop a game to a team from the LTA South in the Quarterfinals.

Odds for Team Liquid vs Cloud9:

  • GGBet Odds: Team Liquid 1.87 - 1.89 Cloud9
  • Strafe Esports Prediction: Cloud9
