Felipe "Less" Basso, one of the most promising young VALORANT talents from Brazil, has officially parted ways with LOUD, the team where he began his professional career and achieved global recognition.

Less's departure was announced through a heartfelt post by LOUD on X (formerly Twitter), reflecting on his journey with the organization. Immediately after LOUD announced his departure, Team Vitality shared that Less was joining the French organization.

The Rise of a Champion

Less, now 19, joined LOUD at the age of 16 during the team's foundational project "pANcada e Amigos" Under LOUD's banner, he grew from a raw talent into one of VALORANT's most recognized players.

His role as a sentinel helped LOUD dominate the competitive scene, leading to multiple prestigious victories, including: VALORANT Champions 2022, VCT Americas League 2023, Challengers Brazil 2022 (Stages 1 and 2).

Aside from these trophies, Less also helped LOUD achieve notable runner-up finishes at Masters Reykjavík 2022, LOCK//IN São Paulo 2023, and the Americas Kickoff 2024.

Less emotional goodbye

In a personal video, Less reflected on his time with LOUD and the significant role the team played in his growth, both as a player and as a person.

"LOUD was my first professional organization... I joined when I was 16, I'm almost 20 now, so I spent a lot of my life within Laude... We won some titles there, the World Cup, it was really crazy."

Less emphasized the familial bond he formed with his teammates and staff over the years, expressing gratitude for the opportunities he received. Despite their incredible achievements, 2024 proved to be a challenging year for LOUD, with the team failing to qualify for Champions, a result that contributed to Less's decision to explore new horizons.

"I know people will theorize about my departure, but I left as friends with everyone. I love everyone at LOUD, and sometimes opportunities come along that you simply cannot pass up."

The next chapter: Team Vitality

It is already confirmed that Less will be joining Team Vitality, even though the french organization reinforced that they are still finalizing visa's request and Riot transfer approval. This move signals a major shift in his career as he transitions from the Brazilian VALORANT scene to Europe.

Vitality, a top-tier European organization with a strong reputation in multiple esports, will be Less's new home as they reshape their entire team looking for a better and more prolific 2025 VALORANT season.

This transfer marks a new beginning for both Less and the team, as Vitality looks to elevate their position in the international VALORANT scene with the addition of such a high-caliber player.

Less's experience and championship pedigree will be a valuable asset for Team Vitality as they aim for global success. This departure marks the end of an era for both Less and LOUD, but it’s clear that his journey is far from over.
