The final 16 teams have been finalized, and the Legends Stage of the Blast.tv Paris Major commenced on the 13th of May 2023. Both Round 1 and 2 were held on the same day, and all games were BO1s.

Round 1:

All 16 teams of the Legends faced each other. The ones who came from challengers already had to climb an uphill battle for this shot. While those who directly qualified to the Legends Stage might be in for a surprise.

NaVi, Liquid, Monte, Fnatic, Heroic, Apeks, Vitality and ENCE have all managed to win their opening matchups against GL, 9INE, Furia, NIP, Faze, ITB, G2 and BNE respectively. The winners from Round 1 will play against each other in Round 2 High Matches for a shot at the 3-0 spot in playoffs. While the losing teams will have to play in the Round 2 Low matches to avoid the dreadful BO3 of elimination.

Round 2 High Matches:

Game 1: Natus Vincere vs Team Liquid

Liquid Surprised everyone in the matchup, as they managed to beat NaVi 16-8 on Inferno. The NA squad had a near perfect T-side, only allowing NaVi to win 1 round, and ending the first half 14-1. NaVi tried to fight back, but to no avail as Liquid took the map 16-8.

Game 2: Fnatic vs Monte

The first game of the day to go into overtime, Fnatic and Monte had a fierce battle on Vertigo, before Monte came out on top. Both teams had a strong CT-side, but it was Monte who managed to get to Map Point first. But Fnatic refused to give up and pushed the map into Overtime. However, Monte were clearly the better team, as they won the map 19-17.

Game 3: Vitality vs ENCE

Vitality continue their winning ways, as they stand 2-0 in the rankings after beating ENCE on Vertigo. ENCE did put up a good fight however, as they had a solid T-side to end the first half 8-7. But Vitality managed to show off an even better T-side and won the map 16-13.

Game 4: Heroic vs Apeks

Final game of the High Matches had Heroic go up against Apeks. They had a strong first half, ending at 9-6 on Mirage. The second half was even more dominant for Heroic, as they won the map 16-10.

Round 2 Low Matches:

Game 1: Furia vs NIP

NIP had a dominant game against Furia. Furia put up a good fight, as they managed to end the first half 8-7. But then NIP had a defensive masterclass, as they won 9 rounds in a row without allowing Furia to take a single round on their T-side. They won the map 16-8 on Nuke.

Game 2: 9INE vs GamerLegion

GL managed to stay out of the fight for elimination, as they beat 9INE 16-13 after a fierce fight on Mirage. Both teams had a strong CT-side, but GL were the better side, as they managed to take the map win.

Game 3: Into the Breach vs Faze Clan

Faze Clan have fallen into the pits for elimination, as ITB managed to win 16-12 on Inferno. ITB had a very strong CT-side, managing to end the first half 10-5. Even though they had a rocky second half, it was enough to secure the win.

Game 4: Bad News Eagles vs G2 Esports

BNE managed to send G2 into elimination, as they beat them on Inferno. G2 had a fantastic start on the map, managing to end the first half 10-5. But BNE managed to turn the game around, as they had a spectacular T-side. They made the comeback possible and won the map 16-13.
