Riot Games Phroxzon, Lead Gameplay Designer for League of Legends, has confirmed that changes are already coming for the newly introduced mechanic Feats of Strength. The micropatch aims to nerf both the Bloody Roses as well as the Tier 3 Boots introduced in the last patch.

Confirmed changes are also incoming for the First Blood objective, with aims to replace it with another objective. However, the changes will not go live until Patch 15.2 or 15.3 according to the latest communication.

"Still assessing where new and heavily changed gameplay elements have landed. We're watching snowball rates and perception/frustration with potential snowball especially."

- RiotMeddler

Feats of Blunder

A massive update that most prominently featured a re-skinned Summoner’s Rift as Noxus included a new mechanic Feats of Strength, which many saw as problematic for the game’s already expedited tempo.

Most notably, the First Blood mechanic was something many in the community saw as inherently problematic for the game’s future and, to many, its introduction as fundamentally adverse to the core concept of League of Legends gameplay.

More than that, what many found issue with was not just the behaviour it encouraged, but the rewards that came with the new system - the new Tier 3 boot upgrades locked to only the team that completes the Feats of Strength quests first.

As a result, just a patch after introduction, Riot is already introducing a hotfix to attempt to tweak the numbers.
