We have our first playoffs teams at Worlds 2025, and they're none other than KT Rolster and Anyone's Legend. As the #3 seed from the LCK and #2 seed from the LPL, respectively, neither team came into the tournament as big favorites to win it all. Both squads, however, have shown a great run of form in the Swiss Stage.

Now, KT and AL's 3-0 records at Worlds have granted them a spot in the Quarterfinals, as well as some well earned extra bit of rest ahead of the start of the playoffs.

KT Rolster Outshines Gen.G and T1

After handing Gen.G a shock loss in the LCK Playoffs, KT guaranteed themselves a spot at Worlds 2025. Once the complete lineup of teams was settled, though, KT were unanimously considered the weakest LCK squad at the tournament. Now, Bdd and company proved their doubters wrong by taking down Top Esports to become the only team to finish the Swiss Stage without dropping a game.

In their final match, KT completely overpowered the LPL's Top Esports, putting up a total of 46 kills to TES' 17 throughout the series.

Bdd's Stellar Run of Form Continues

KT simply being at Worlds largely came down to Bdd's supreme level of play in the LCK. Now on the international stage, nothing seems to have changed. During the course of the Swiss Stage, Bdd has died only once, putting up a total KDA of 14.75; that is more than twice as much as the next highest Mid Laner (Shanks).

If Bdd (and the rest of the team, really), continue their incredible run of form, there's just no telling how far KT might be able to make it at Worlds. It's worth noting that every time that KT qualified to Worlds, they exited the tournament in the Quarterfinals. Will this time prove any different?

Anyone's Legend Return to International Form

Half way through the year, Anyone's Legend were looking like one of the best teams in the world after a 3rd place finish at MSI and a 2nd place finish at the Esports World Cup. In the build up to Worlds 2025, however, AL's form dipped as they struggled to deal with their opposition in the LPL.

Now, it's beginning to look like Anyone's Legend shines their brightest on the international stage. Despite their first game loss to CTBC Flying Oyster in their final match of the Swiss Stage, the LPL squad turned in up a notch for the remainder of the Bo3 series, ultimately claiming the 2-1 win and a spot in the playoffs.

Tarzan is the King of the Jungle

Tarzan was widely recognized as one of the best Junglers in the scene coming into Worlds 2025, and the Swiss Stage has only served to reinforce that sentiment. Anyone's Legend's objective control has been second to none so far at the tournament, with the team boasting a 91.7% Baron rate, a 67.3% Dragon rate, and a 60% Atakhan rate.

Even when the team isn't ahead in gold, AL can always count on Tarzan to find advantages elsewhere.

Round 3 of the Swiss Stage Continues

KT Rolster and Anyone's Legend will be getting a few days off now, but the action continues at the Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage. Round 3 of matches carries on Saturday, October 18th, with FlyQuest taking on Team Secret Whales up first, starting at 10 am CET.

With only six playoffs spots remaining, it's do-or-die time for teams at Worlds 2025!
