Karmine Corp Claim #1 Spot in the 2026 LEC Versus Regular Season

Karmine Corp Claim #1 Spot in the 2026 LEC Versus Regular Season

We may still have one full day of games left to go, but the new-look Karmine Corp are already set to finish the 2026 LEC Versus Regular Season as the region's #1 team.

With a current record of 8-2 and a favorable head-to-head against the next-best team — NAVI — KC will arrive in playoffs as the number one seed for a chance to come away with their second LEC trophy.

Karmine Corp's New Roster Takes the LEC by Storm

With other LEC heavy hitters like G2 and Movistar KOI making no moves in the off-season, Karmine Corp came into the 2026 LEC Versus looking like the most improved squad in the region. At least, as far as the roster is concerned.

The additions of North American Support superstar Busio and South Korean rookie Mid Laner kyeahoo sounded great on paper, but few could have predicted just how quickly, and effectively, this team would start developing a working synergy.

Karmine Corp huddle on the 2026 LEC Versus stage

Truth be told, though, when it comes to the pound-for-pound capabilities of this squad, this new KC roster looks built for success. And yet, while claiming the top spot in the Regular Season is great news, true success will only be found in the playoffs.

Can Karmine Corp continue their good run of form to claim earn the chance to represent the LEC at First Stand for the second consecutive year, or will the rest of the league elevate their level of play in time for playoffs?

LEC Action Continues

While Karmine Corp can rest easy knowing their job in the Regular Season is done, the rest of the league will be fighting tooth and nail on the final day of games to secure their spot in the playoffs.

Currently, all of G2, Movistar KOI, Fnatic, Los Ratones, Team Heretics, and Shifters will need to compete for the final four playoffs spots. Meanwhile, Karmine Corp, NAVI, GIANTX, and Team Vitality have all secured their spots in the next stage of competition.

Catch the final day of Regular Season action at the 2026 LEC Versus this Sunday, February 8, starting with Los Ratones taking on Team Vitality at 4.45 pm CET.
