After almost four years under the Team Liquid banner, Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen has parted ways with the European Organization ahead of the VCT 2025 season.

With the departure, all the original members of the 2021 roster have departed from the organization.

A long journey: Jamppi and Team Liquid

After receiving an unfair VAC ban in Counter-Strike, The prodigal Finnish awper transitioned to VALORANT, joining Team Liquid replacing ec1s on the roster.

The new squad bolstered with the talented youngster lifted the EMEA trophy taking down Fnatic 3-2 in the finals. The win meant VCT 2021: Masters Reykjavik qualification as EMEA’s first seed.

At the first international VALORANT event, Jamppi and Liquid finished fourth after losing to Fnatic in the lower bracket.

They failed to qualify for Berlin but qualified for VALORANT Champions 2021 after winning the EMEA LCQ and placed 3rd-4th behind Ascend and Gambit.

2022 was a year of struggles, despite starting strong, they only qualified for VCT 2022: Masters Reykjavik and failed to qualify for Copenhangen. They once again won the EMEA LCQ to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2022, placing 7th-8th.

2023 brought a plethora of roster changes but Liquid kept Jamppi as the centerpiece for the roster, flexing on different agents. The roster struggled to achieve international success but defeated Fnatic to win the EMEA title.

Unfortunately, In 2024, the roster struggled to put up significant results, failing to make any international tournaments. It broke Team Liquid's VALORANT Champions streak. Jamppi along with Mistic and Enzo were benched shortly after the end of VCT 2025.

Jamppi’s future destination

Earlier today, Team Liquid announced the departure of Jamppi, noting down a heartfelt message for the long time member. Jamppi reciprocated by thanking the fans and the organization for the amazing four years.

Moving forward, Jamppi is confirmed the Turkish BBL Esports as part of their roster overhaul. It will the first time the organization goes international, with Jamppi being their first international member.

Team Liquid haven’t announced the two remaining squad members and only recently announced the addition of Polish Kamil "kamo" Frąckowiak to the roster.

VALORANT does not offer crossplay between PC and console. This means that PC players can only match and play against other PC players, and console players (PS5 and Xbox) players can only match and play against other console players. While there is no crossplay in VALORANT, the game does support cross progression, which means that your account, skins, and any other form of progress carry from one platform to the other (from PC to console, and vice versa).
