Andrei "arT" Piovezan recently broadcasted live on his Twitch channel, sharing various impactful stories from his time with the FURIA team, sparking controversies and questions regarding the organization's methods.

In response to these controversies, André Akkari, FURIA's co-CEO, offered direct clarifications on the most discussed points during arT's outpouring, addressing concerns and providing insights into the team's internal dynamics.

Restrictive policies: Balancing focus and personal life

One of the statements that stirred debate was the alleged imposition of restrictions on FURIA players, including prohibitions on alcohol, tobacco, and contact with their girlfriends. Akkari clarified that while restrictive policies were previously in place to maintain focus during boot camps and competitions, the team evolved to allow exceptions, recognizing the players' maturity in managing their personal lives.

"We sought to limit contact with family and girlfriends during boot camps and tournaments, or at least we were more radical about it."

Internal conflicts - Natural occurrences in competitive environments

arT mentioned the existence of conflicts and arguments within the FURIA group, raising questions about the health of the team's internal environment. Akkari agreed, highlighting that discussions are common in high-performance environments, always aiming for growth and collective excellence.

"Yes, there were fights, and it's normal for them to happen."

Distance from family and restrictions

arT's difficulty in maintaining contact with his family during his time with FURIA was a sensitive point. Akkari clarified that the restrictions imposed during boot camps and competitions did not prohibit contact with family but limited physical proximity, especially during the pandemic, aiming for the players' professional success.

"I don't think arT meant to say that FURIA prevented him from seeing his mother."

Health and well-being: Healthy debates, no impositions

Akkari refuted the idea that FURIA forced player KSCERATO to follow a vegan diet, emphasizing that discussions about healthy practices occurred within an atmosphere of mutual respect, without impositions. He stressed the importance of addressing health issues collaboratively and respectfully.

"I always discussed with arT and the guys about a better health policy, but always in the context of friendship, never forcing anyone."

HEN1's departure: Transparency and communication

Akkari firstly clarified HEN1's departure from the team, emphasizing that it was a decision made jointly between the player and the organization, with FURIA's support. He highlighted the importance of transparent communication and mutual respect in delicate situations like this, also showcasing the good relationship between the organization and the player.

"Yes, HEN1 in Mangaratiba, Rio de Janeiro, called me for a personal conversation asking to please release him to play with Lucas."
