The Esports World Cup Foundation has announced a massive prize pool of $60 Million for the inaugural Esports World cup, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The gaming festival set for this summer breaks the previous prize pool record of $45 Million dollars set by Gamers8: the Land of the Heroes in 2023.

The event will not only feature a massive prize pool but also feature some of the best competitors across 20 esports titles competing under a single building.

Talking about the humongous prize pool, Ralf Reichert, CEO of Esports World Cup Foundation says:

“Setting the record for largest esports prize pool is a remarkable achievement, but what I’m most proud of is the positive message this sends to the wider esports and gaming community. More than $60 million is a testament to our investment in the future of global esports, a commitment to esports fans who deserve exceptional events and an extension of our mission to create meaningful competitive opportunities with life-changing prize pools for esports athletes everywhere.”

ESWC has set aside a big chunk of the massive prize pool i.e $20 Million dollars for ‘Club Championship’. A cross-game competitive format where they will reward the top 16 performing organizations with impressive overall performance.

The ‘Club Championship’ will allow the organizations to choose esports they wish to compete in. At the event’s conclusion, ESWC will award the best performing organization the ‘Esports World Cup Club Champion’

The second major chunk will be the individual esports prize pool. ESWC has reserved a massive $30 Million dollars for the individual esports title. It ensures industry best prize pool across the board. They have reserved the rest of the prize pool for qualifiers and $50,000 awarded to the MVP of each esports tournament.
