Set to arrive on the 22nd of August (today), the FNC x EDG collaboration is a perfect embodiment of sportsmanship and respect between Eastern and Western esports.

UK-based organization Fnatic and Chinese-based organization EDward Gaming may have a fierce rivalry on the server, having fielded numerous competitive rosters across game titles such as League of Legends and VALORANT. However, such is not the case off the server. Off the server, the two giants in gaming very much have massive respect for one another as evidenced by this collaboration.

Fnatic X EDG Collab Collection

The newly introduced collection consists of 2 articles of clothing: a Fnatic X EDG Hoodie and a Fnatic X EDG T-Shirt. Furthermore, the hoodie and the t-shirt come in both black and white as colors.

Hoodie (White/Black): $95 USD

T-Shirt (White): $32 USD

Fnatic and EDG

The organizations first clashed in League of Legends, all the way back in 2015 during the group stage of MSI. EDG drew first blood against Fnatic but Fnatic paid them back by eliminating EDG later that year from Worlds 2015 in the Knockout Stage.

The pair would not clash again until 2018, when Fnatic faced EDG at the Worlds 2018, where again Fnatic eliminated EDG in the quarterfinals of the Knockout Stage. At the 2022 Worlds, EDG finally paid Fnatic back, taking 2 wins off Fnatic to secure their own advancement in the Group Stage.

Strangely, Fnatic has yet to face EDG in VALORANT. Despite the former having attended 10 international events in VALORANT and the latter having attended 7, the pair has never locked horns.
