The Valorant Episode 7 Act III is almost here. Releasing on 1st November 2023, the act comes packed with a multitude of new additions to the game. The biggest addition has to be the new duelist ISO. Additionally, the act III patch introduces a new skinline, an event pass, new battlepass and more.

A new duelist - Iso:

The first and arguably the biggest addition to the game, coming with Episode 7 Act III, has to be Iso. The new agent from China will be Valorant’s seventh duelist. With a kit revolving around dueling, isolating duels and winning duels. We have already covered the agent’s abilities and what the pros think about his kit.

Valiant Hero - the new Skinline:

The upcoming skinline revolves around the story of The Monkey King, from Chinese folklore. The mythical hero has been an inspiration for multiple fictional characters including Son Goku from the Dragon Ball franchise.

Talking about the bundle’s design goal, Laura Baltzer, Game Producer says,

The Monkey King character is well beloved by so many people and our goal was to create a skinline that felt as heroic and powerful as his story. One of the main avenues we used to express this story is the clouds. Monkey King is often depicted riding on a nimbus cloud and this was a powerful image for us as we were creating this thematic. Additionally, you’ll see that the staff is a main component of every one of the weapons in the Valiant Hero skinline. Using Monkey King’s classic weapon, one that he can change shape and size according to the battle he is fighting, was another way we wanted to emphasize the power of the hero.

The bundle features the following weapons

  • Weapons

    • Ruyi Staff (new melee type)
  • Accessories
    • Valiant Hero Card
    • Valiant Hero Spray
    • Valiant Hero Buddy

Each individual weapon costs 1775 VP and the melee costs 4350 VP. Each item has four levels of upgrade with the final being the Monkey King finisher animation and four variants. The Melee Ruyi Staff’s has an unique never-ending inspect animation with custom music.

Horizon Event pass:

The Horizon Event pass welcomes the Chinese players to Valorant. The event pass revolves around Sage and celebrates the arrival of China to Valorant.

The pass features:

  • Welcome Title
  • United Title
  • Good Luck Knot Gun Buddy
  • Pocket Sage Spray
  • A Warm Welcome Card

Episode 7 Act III Battlepass:

The Episode 7 Act III Battlepass will be the final battlepass of the year. Talking about the goals while designing the battlepass, Mangxi Zhou, the producer says:

As this year draws to a close, we're excited to offer this Battle Pass as the perfect conclusion to an incredible journey we've shared, marked by new maps, agents, a growing global family, and unforgettable esports highlights. This Battle Pass is infused with festive joy and the anticipation of the dawn of a new year. Alongside these, our accessories always aim to capture those joyful, funny and memorable moments from our game that players might find familiar, such as The Big Bet Spray and Fragger’s Fall Spray.

The battlepass will feature three skinlines, Silhouette, Sandswepth and Libretto.
