Valorant is Riot’s 5v5 hero tactical-fps. As the game’s genre suggests, a big part of Valorant’s gameplay are the agents. There are currently a total of 22 agents in Valorant. The latest agent Deadlock was released four months ago on June 27th, 2023.

Earlier this year, Riot announced three agents for the year, the first was Gekko, the second was Deadlock and the third is currently in the final stages of development. The official Valorant Twitter/X has teased the agent for a while now.

The name and the image for the Valorant agent 24 leaked via multiple sources in the previous week. With a lot of data already leaked, Riot decided to officially release the trailer for the agent.

The trailer follows the aftermath of the Sunset trailer explosion. An ex-Kingdom scientist ventures into the explosion to collect the leftover research samples she worked on. ISO is introduced in the trailer as an assassin targeting the rogue Kingdom scientist.

According to the conversation in the trailer, Iso is a ‘bulletproof wizard’ who can take out his enemies with a single round. He is known as the 'Dead Lilac, for the purple flash you see before you die’. The trailer ends with Iso shooting at the rogue Kingdom scientist’s group.

ISO, recruited by Cypher, is the 23rd agent to join the Valorant protocol. The seventh duelist is of Chinese origin. His kit revolves around kills which get him an extra shield, with his ultimate setting up a dueling arena between ISO and one of the enemies.

When will Valorant agent ISO release?

Riot will release ISO on 1st November 2023 along with Episode VII Act 3.

Stay tuned on Strafe for more details on the agent's abilities and ability guide.

Is VALORANT Crossplay? PC, PS5, Xbox & Mobile Explained (2026)

VALORANT does not offer crossplay between PC and console. This means that PC players can only match and play against other PC players, and console players (PS5 and Xbox) players can only match and play against other console players. While there is no crossplay in VALORANT, the game does support cross progression, which means that your account, skins, and any other form of progress carry from one platform to the other (from PC to console, and vice versa).
