The past month has resulted in significant changes to the CS:GO HTLV Rankings, but the fact remains that G2 is still at the top of the table and doesn't seem to have much competition for it

February marked the return of Counter-Strike after the winter break, with the IEM Katowice playoffs bringing action back to Spodek Arena.

First, G2 breaks the curse and lifts a trophy after three grand finals in the last four years. The victory secured Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and company the trophy and cemented G2's dominance at the top of the CS:GO HLTV Rankings

The first CCT LAN also took place last month, hosting eight teams in Malta just before the start of the ESL Pro League.

The RMRs for the Paris Major also stand out, with 39 teams from Europe, the Americas and Asia securing their presence in the qualifying events.

TEAM HIGHLIGHTS

G2 (still) on top of the world

Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen and company lead both the ranking for the second straight month and dominance of the scene in February.

G2's month started with a title fight at IEM Katowice, passing by Natus Vincere, BIG, FaZe, Liquid and Heroic to lift the trophy in front of the passionate Polish crowd.

G2 went undefeated throughout the event and left Poland with a 12-game unbeaten record. Undeniably, the top 1 ranking has been the most consistent force on the scene and has entered as a favorite in every tournament.

Eternal Fire evolving solidly

Movistar Riders back in the top 30

Movistar Riders consolidates its rise in the scene competition, greatly boosted by the AWPer Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia. The Spanish standout caught the attention of the top teams in the scene and was hired by ENCE - making Antonio "Martinez" Martinez the new leader of the Spaniards.
After some ups and downs, the team achieved good results and was once again among the best teams in the scenario.

Sprout drops to its lowest position in five months as 9INE climbs the rankings

Due to a great instability of Sprout after several team changes they are now one of the worst performing teams at the start of this season.

On the side of the Polish 9INE, a sequel good results in the qualifying for IEM Rio 2023, the RMR of the Paris Major and the BLAST Showdown, combined with the first place on the podium in the GAM3RS_X Polish Clash and in the OMEN WGR Challenge guaranteed 9INE the highest ranking of all time of the organization since its formation in 2019.

Another Early Exit, Same Old Story: Team Falcons Are Running Out Of Excuses

There is a cruel irony at the heart of Team Falcons' CS2 project. Hand someone from 2022 their current roster sheet — NiKo, m0NESY, TeSeS, Kyxsan, kyosuke, all under the tutelage of five-time Major-winning coach Zonic — and they would confidently declare this team the undisputed best in the world. And yet, here we are in March 2026, watching Falcons get knocked out of BLAST Open Spring in the quarterfinals by PARIVISION.
