The reigning VALORANT Masters Champions, Sentinels are currently in a tight spot in VCT Americas League Split 1.

With the record of 2-2, Sentinels sit just outside the top three of Group Alpha, making their chances to qualify for the playoffs a what-if.

But it is not all over. Sentinels can still make it to the playoffs. Let’s look at the stars that need to align for them to qualify for Mid-Season Playoffs

How can Sentinels qualify for Mid-season Playoffs:

1) They have to beat Brazil's No.1

It all starts today for Sentinels. Later today, they will face the Brazilian LOUD for the fate of their Mid-Season Playoffs qualification. LOUD themselves are in a sticky situation and need to win the game to stay in contention.

2) Not choke the next series AND win convincingly

They will also have to win the follow-up week 5 game against FURIA with a good round differential ensuring a tie-breaker win.

3) Wish ill on their competitors (Voodoo anyone?)

G2 Esports, NRG and Cloud9 have to lose one of their next two games or KRU has to lose the next two with a bad round differential.

Additionally, If EG, LOUD, FURIA or MIBR lose either of the games, it’d give the Group Alpha an additional slot in the Mid-Season Playoffs.

If they follow all of these steps, Sentinels fans might just be able to continue sniffing their supply of copium.

Thus the upcoming Sentinels vs LOUD game will be the most important for the teams this regular season (that's Step 1 remember?). Both the teams sit atop the throne of VCT Americas in terms of viewership and popularity and with everything on the line, their game will be one for the history books!

The game starts today at 17:00 PT. Catch the games live on YouTube and Twitch. You can also follow the game on Strafe.
