It comes as little surprise that as of today, Bilibili Gaming have officially re-signed their full League of Legends roster. The team was a Grand Finalist most recently at Worlds 2024 after a dominant overall year that also saw them win both LPL domestic splits as well as finish as a Grand Finalist in the MSI 2024 competition as well.

The organization announced the re-signing of Chen “Bin” Ze-Bin, Yan “Wei” Yang-Wei, Zhuo “knight” Ding, Zhao “Elk” Jia-Hao, and Luo “ON” Wen-Jun. Bin, Wei, and Elk have signed an extension on their contracts until 2026, whereas knight and ON have only extended until 2025.

BLG are running it back for 2025

As alluded to earlier, BLG’s 2024 was nothing short of incredible. Despite not lifting any international trophies, the ceiling shown by the roster, makes them one of the closest teams to ever achieve the Golden Road (if we do not look at it strictly chronologically).

Their roster boasts arguably a top 3 player in the world in each of their roles, with a serious conversation to be had in particular for both Bin and Knight as the best of the current era. With all that said, amidst the reports and whispers of the LPL organizations making another serious bid for the Worlds trophy with multiple super rosters mid construction, it is not difficult to see why BLG intends on retaining the talent they currently do have.

The sole missing piece for BLG heading into the new season is their former jungler, Peng “Xun” Li-Xun, who has departed from the roster following their season. XUN was instrumental for the team during their darkest hour at Worlds 2024. A game away from elimination in the Swiss Stage, XUN played a critical role in helping the team return to their winning ways. XUN would remain the active jungler for the team over Wei for the remainder of their Worlds run, capping off as Grand Finalist in the end.

While Wei commands respect and experience within the roster, his track record on the biggest stage draws some question marks and it remains to be seen if he can step up as the key catalyst for this roster in 2025.

BLG current roster for 2025 LPL season

  • Top: Chen “Bin” Ze-Bin
  • Jgl: Yan “Wei” Yang-Wei
  • Mid: Zhuo “knight” Ding
  • ADC: Zhao “Elk” Jia-Hao
  • Supp: Luo “ON” Wen-Jun
