W7M Gaming has just pulled off an amazing feat, winning the coveted Blast R6 Copenhagen Major in spectacular fashion. The Brazilian team has cemented their place in the annals of Rainbow Six Siege history with an awe-inspiring performance that left their opponents awestruck.

The grand final was a tense affair, w7m were the favorites going in, but Liquid were no small team to be trifled with. And many believed that it would be a really even game going in. But it was anything but.

Map 1: Skyscraper

W7m started off Skyscraper with clear dominance. They won all but one round on their attacking side, pulling it off near perfectly. However, Liquid did not back down, as answered back with 4 straight round wins on their attack side as well. But this wasn’t enough, as w7m managed to pull it back, and claim the map at 7-5.

Map 2: Bank

Bank was a much more even affair, with neither team able to create momentum. Both teams were trading pairs of rounds, until Liquid managed to reach Map Point first. But w7m managed to push the map into Overtime. They then edged out another 2 rounds to secure the map at 8-6.

Map 3: Chalet

Liquid walked into Chalet in a do-or-die situation, and sadly, could not stay in it. W7m took their third map, and the series 3-0. Liquid were left trading every other round on their defense. But w7m had a solid put up which Liquid couldn’t breach. They won 4 rounds back-to-back on their defense, and won the map 7-3.

W7m were crowned as the Champions of Blast R6 Copenhagen Major after this sweeping victory against Team Liquid.
