In an exciting twist, the 2024 EMEA Masters Summer Finals will also unfold during the roadshow. This will include the top two ERL teams showcasing their prowess on Friday. The announcement follows the successful conclusion of the 2024 LEC Spring Split where G2 took home the trophy. The details shared by esports player Niklot "Tolkin" Stüber emphasize Munich's readiness for this major event.

As fans gear up for the electrifying atmosphere, Clemens Baumgärtner, Head of Munich's Department of Labor and Economic Development, expressed his enthusiasm about hosting the finals. "We are thrilled to welcome the League of Legends community to Munich showcasing our city as a leading tech and digital hub," he remarked. Similarly, Dr. Fabian Mehring, Bavarian State Minister for Digital Affairs, highlighted the synergy between Bavaria's high-tech capabilities and the dynamic esports scene, adding, "Hosting the 2024 LEC Season Finals in Bavaria is a testament to our region's vibrant digital culture."

Changes in 2024

This year's qualification process for the Season Finals has also seen significant changes. It will have a greater focus on the Summer Split results determining the contenders. The top teams from Munich will not only vie for the LEC title but also the spots in the World Championships. This also includes the Season Champion securing EMEA's #1 seed.

The finals will be streamed online on twitch.tv/LEC and youtube.com/@LEC for those who cannot attend in person. Stay updated with Strafe news for real-time updates and ticketing information.
