Worlds 2024 Swiss Stage: Opening Fixtures

Following the conclusion of the Play-Ins, a live draw show was held to determine the opening matchups for all the teams. Here’s a reminder for the Draw Show Rule set in case you’ve forgotten:

* Pool 1 teams will face Pool 4 teams and Pool 2 teams will play Pool 3 teams.

**In the first draw, no team will be able to play a team from their own region.

***A second draw will commence for the 2nd round of the Swiss Stage - pairing teams with the same record against one another. The additional draw restriction will not apply (regional lock will not be in effect).

****Teams will not be allowed to rematch previous opponents in this Stage.

3 wins qualifies a team for the Knockout Stage, 3 losses eliminated the team from Worlds 2024 contention. Without further ado, here are the matchups.

Worlds 2024 Swiss Stage Format

The 16 teams have been drawn into 4 draw pools and from there it’s off to the races. Qualification and Elimination series will be in Bo3 format. All other matches will be Bo1s.

The 8 teams that survive through this gauntlet, will qualify for the final stage: the Knockout Stage.

*Match dates and times TBD
