Matchup Previews and Predictions

DK vs TES

Preview: DK struggled well in their recent match against LNG, showing few cracks in their team fight coordination. TES, on the other hand, looks more formidable, fresh off a key win over FNC, with Creme leading the charge with his split pushing and team fighting. If DK can stabilize their team fight positioning in mid-late game and continue to find successful early game plays, they have a good chance, but TES's teamfight prowess makes them the favorites here.

Prediction: TES is expected to win based on their incredible team fight synergy and strong macro, pushing DK to the brink of elimination.

G2 vs T1

Preview: G2 has been on a resurgence, with a dominating performance in Round 3, whereas T1 has shown formidable map-wide pressure and objective control. Zeus and Oner showed excellent performance in team fights and haven proven once again why they are considered a power house team. G2, spearheaded by Caps and Hans Sama, will look to contest objectives with fierce team fight potential and take control over the game if given the advantage.

Prediction: This will be a close game, but G2 is more stable overall. They are favored to come out on top against a formidable T1.

HLE vs FLY

Preview: Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) continues to show their strategic depth, particularly in their ability to navigate the late game, while FlyQuest (FLY) has barely scraped by with a score 2-1, taking down PSG in their last match. Zeka and Viper for HLE will be their key players, but FLY’s Massu, if played well around, will aim to keep HLE in check to have a shot at winning.

Prediction: HLE is expected to win due to their superior skirmishing and overall mechanical skill.

TL vs GAM

Preview: TL has struggled to find form at Worlds 2024, and they face a tough challenge in GAM, who are known for their aggressive team fights. GAM has had mixed results so far, but their ability to take risks early on could catch TL off-guard if they aren’t prepared.

Prediction: This is likely to be a scrappy game, but TL has the edge given Yeon has shown the most consistent performance which will be key to TL's victory.

WBG vs FNC

Preview: WBG lost a long match against G2, and they are looking to take revenge on EU. Meanwhile, FNC is looking at elimination from their recent loss against TES, and their gameplay still lacks cohesion. Light and Xiaohu for WBG will likely dominate their lanes and transition to an advantageous mid game, and FNC will need to rely on Humanoid to carry throughout the match.

Prediction: WBG should win this match, especially if they can maintain their objective control and bot lane dominance.

BLG vs PSG

Preview: BLG looks like one of the strongest teams in the tournament, while PSG has struggled to gain momentum. BLG's coordinated macro and strong mid-lane presence from knight should give them the advantage, especially against a PSG squad that often falters in the late game.

Prediction: BLG is favored to win this matchup and prolong their run toward the Knockout Stage.

Locke in League of Legends: Abilities, Playstyle, Release Date

Riot’s newest champion, Corvin Locke, arrives as a nail-slinging exorcist versed in forbidden rites, shaped by a childhood steeped in Demacian lies and hypocrisy. Born to Demacian occultists, Locke grew up learning a brutal lesson: demons are not the source of humanity’s darkness, but its consequence. That belief drives his mission now—to tear through every soul, expose its hidden rot, and make the world a little more honest, one exorcism at a time.
