Team Vitality secure a semi-finals spot after defeating FaZe Clan in a thrilling series.

Kings of Inferno

FaZe Clan in ferocious form stomped Vitality on their map pick, Inferno. Although the bees started strong on CT side with four rounds lead, Helvijs "broky" Saukants and co responded with unyielding force. Their impressive map control and effective trading netted FaZe Clan seven consecutive rounds on the offense to lead at 8-4 in the first half.

Despite Vitality’s defense setups, Finn "karrigan" Andersen had a firm grip on them, managing to penetrate both bombsites without any strong resistance.

In the second half, FaZe Clan kept the same aggression and caught Vitality off guard on two back-to-back occasions. Subsequently, with confidence running through their blood, “broky” slammed Vitality with the MP9, ending the first map on 14-4 scoreline.

Star AWPer Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut kicked off with a strong performance, but his momentum waned in the second half. Notably, each of the five Vitality players secured only one kill apiece during the defensive rounds.

Vitality flips the table

On Dust 2, Vitality stole FaZe’s flair and hit early with six rounds. Yet, with a collective effort, they closed the gap to a single round difference. In the midst of it, both teams traded blows with most rounds coming down to the wire.  Until vitality sprinkled one last round, securing the lead at 7-5.

With FaZe Clan inside the server, it’s never too early to count them out. The comeback kings put a strong foot on the defense with a masterclass performance from Håvard "rain" Nygaard. Although they had a real chance to steal Vitality’s map pick, a B split with a scrappy buy gave the edge to “ZywOo” and his teammates, ending the map at 13-10.

At last, it all came down to Mirage where Vitality gave FaZe Clan a taste of their own medicine. Despite David "frozen" Čerňanský’s heroics on the pistol round, a stubborn “apEX” kept him at bay. Since then, the map had Shahar "flameZ" Shushan’s name written all over it. From instrumental entries, to clutches and multi round kills, the rifler put the final nail in FaZe’s coffin.

The map was all set and done at 13-6, giving up a spectacular Semi Finals, as Vitality and Spirit lock horns on Saturday for the second time this month, after IEM Dallas.

CS2 Major Revenue Share Changes Are Pushing Organizations Away from Counter-Strike

Valve’s new CS2 Major revenue share ties sticker income to VRS and final placement, removing capsule‑style payouts and concentrating money among top finishers. The result: higher volatility for clubs that relied on sticker cheques, early roster cuts like Gaimin Gladiators, and a narrower field of sustainable CS2 organizations unless the payout model changes.
