The fan-favorite Prelude to Chaos skin bundle is making a much-anticipated comeback in VALORANT with the arrival of Prelude to Chaos 2.0. Riot Games has teased this iconic bundle through official social media, generating excitement across the VALORANT community.

This 2.0 version aims to elevate the original’s aesthetic with enhanced visuals, new weapon skins, and the signature mechanical nightmare theme that players have long admired.

Release Date and Pricing

Expected to release on September 18 or 19, the pricing for the Prelude to Chaos 2.0 is likely to mirror the original bundle, which was sold at 8,700 Valorant Points. But given the pricing of recent bundles, it would not be a surprise if they priced it higher.

Individual weapon skins within the bundle will probably be priced around 2,175 VP, while the melee skin could go for about 4,350 VP, maintaining the exclusive pricing standard. This pricing structure suggests that buying the full bundle will offer the best value for players seeking to collect all components.

Design and Visual Enhancements

True to the Prelude to Chaos lineage, the 2.0 bundle preserves the mechanical nightmare aesthetic, along with the standard color variations available in the 1.0 bundle. A stand-out feature is the glowing power source embedded in the skins that shifts color from blue to purple, adding a dynamic visual effect.

The reload animations have been upgraded; the power source appears to shatter and then reconstruct via a hand animation. The ultimate kill finisher creates a dramatic portal effect with chains pulling enemies down, enhancing the thematic intensity.

Included Skins and Content

While the complete official list is pending, leaks and predictions indicate that the Prelude to Chaos 2.0 bundle will include:

  • Phantom
  • Bulldog
  • Spectre
  • Sheriff
  • A new melee Mace with new animations
  • Additional cosmetic items such as sprays, gun buddies, and player cards themed around the bundle

VALORANT’s Prelude to Chaos 2.0 skin bundle combines nostalgia with modern upgrades, offering a must-have aesthetic for enthusiasts of the original collection and new players alike.
