Chinese operative Hush is set to join the VALORANT roster on October 27, 2026, as a brand-new Duelist designed around precision, finesse, and telekinetic control.
According to Riot Games Game Designer Nicholas Smith, Hush reimagines the traditional Duelist role by shifting the focus from raw power to tactical manipulation.
Rather than simply throwing utility and letting it fly, Hush can steer her abilities in midair to disrupt enemies, set up aggressive plays, and control the pace of combat.
Below is a complete breakdown of Hush’s abilities, design philosophy, and tactical mechanics.
Hush: All VALORANT Agent Abilities
Telekinesis (Passive Ability)

Hush can pick up weapons, collect the Spike, and interact with map switches from an increased range. This allows her to secure crucial items or trigger doors and objectives without exposing herself to dangerous sightlines.
Displacement (Signature Ability - E)

-
Hush throws a telekinetic projectile that can be redirected mid-flight. Upon striking a surface or reaching its timer, it explodes, creating a gravitational pull that draws all nearby players toward the center.
-
If players collide with a surface or with another player during the pull, they are concussed.
-
Displacement resets every two kills, giving Hush sustained disruption potential during long site executes or clutch scenarios.
Flashbulb (Q)

-
Hush throws a flash charge that can also be guided midair toward her crosshair.
-
Explodes on contact with a surface or after a delay, blinding any player facing its direction.
-
The midair steering allows players to curve flashes around tight corners, over high cover, or through unexpected angles before detonating.
Flow (C)

-
Instantly places an anchor point in the environment. If Hush is airborne when activated, she briefly levitates in place, arresting her momentum.
-
After a short delay, Hush is forcefully propelled toward the anchor point.
-
Flow enables dynamic re-peeks, aerial maneuvering, stalling in midair to throw off enemy crosshair placement, and rapid repositioning across dangerous chokepoints.
Suspension (Ultimate)

Hush’s Ultimate ability represents the pinnacle of her telekinetic power, completely neutralizing enemy mobility:
-
Instantly prepares a telekinetic wave. Upon firing, Hush propels the wave forward and actively steers its trajectory using her crosshair.
-
Reactivating or pressing FIRE again detonates the wave, lifting all caught players off the ground and suspending them helplessly in midair.
-
Suspended targets are rendered immobile and unable to dodge, leaving them completely vulnerable to follow-up shots from Hush or her teammates.

Agent Mastery and Strategic Playstyle
Hush is the first agent launching alongside VALORANT's new Agent Mastery system, featuring a dedicated in-game reward track for players to unlock as they level up her experience.
Mechanically, Hush rewards high-skill decision-making, spatial awareness, and creative geometry. Her entire kit allows players to manipulate engagement angles, force enemies out of cover, and orchestrate high-impact plays that break standard expectations.
