The beloved tactical hero FPS, Valorant's mobile version will soon be available to play. Valorant Mobile Beta will soon see the light of day with the complete launch of the game planned no later than Q1 2024.

Riot's Valorant and it's venture into Mobile:

Valorant is a 5v5 tactical hero shooter and, since its launch back in 2020, has taken the world by storm. Valorant regularly hits 5M DAU (Daily active users), with 18M playing the game monthly.

We can gauge Valorant's popularity through money skins and skin bundles make. From the exclusive 2022 Valorant Champions bundle, Riot Games earned a total of $32M. With a single bundle costing roughly $60, Riot Games sold roughly 533k bundles.

With the massive player base and inclusive esports, it is only natural for Riot Games to bring the hero shooter to additional platforms. One of the biggest platforms apart from desktop gaming available has to be mobile gaming. The Mobile Gaming industry is currently valued at $116Bn and is estimated to grow to $200Bn by the end of 2026. In comparison, the Desktop gaming industry is still at $12Bn. A lot of it comes down to the accessibility of mobile devices and mobile gaming as compared to desktop gaming.

Additionally, Riot Games has already launched multiple of its titles on mobile. Valorant mobile was always a Riot plan and had been working on since 2021. Tencent, one of the biggest publishers in mobile gaming, is also working with Riot to bring the game out as soon as possible. Riot Games will publish the game and tencent will be a co-developer.

Updates on Valorant Mobile:

On March 17th, Mike of Valorleaks took to Twitter to talk about the addition of Valorant Mobile files to the 6.06 PBE. The addition of files does indicate the beta will be available soon.

The mobile version will likely include a recoil control place in the tutorial.

Riot scheduled the closed test of the game in the current month. They will now move towards the Beta launch. With the third anniversary of Valorant coming close, it won't be a surprise if Riot launches the mobile version on the third annivarsary.

Additionally, Riot Games was previously looking into bringing Valorant to the console. While there have been no updates on the console version of Valorant. After Valorant Mobile, Console will be the next big challenge for Riot.
