The championship operates on a double-elimination bracket system with matches consisting of best-of-three series, with only the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final scaling to best-of-five.

Pacific's Dual Representation
Xipto Esports GC claimed the VCT GC Pacific title, not being much challenged throughout the tournament held in Thailand. Ninetails earned their qualification through extraordinary resilience, posting a 21-series winning streak after initial adversity before falling to Xipto in the regional finals. Yet they recovered and punched back through the lower bracket to secure their worlds spot. Ninetails represents Korea's second qualification, bringing regional host-nation storylines.
China's International Blend
Nova Esports GC qualified from China after winning the VCT GC China Stage 2, securing their spot with a 3-1 victory over Ambitious Legend Gaming in the finals. The team features an international composition including Filipino player Kelly "shirazi" Jaudian, making history as the first Filipino competitor in the Chinese Game Changers circuit.
