VALORANT Esports has launched Shotcall, a unique Twitch extension designed to gamify the live match experience for fans. Exclusively available on desktop, Shotcall lets fans engage directly with the action by making real-time predictions on pivotal moments during VCT (VALORANT Champions Tour) matches.

Accurate predictions earn you points and a place on the Shotcall leaderboard. Think of it as a mini-game unfolding alongside the high-stakes esports action you already love.

How Shotcall Works

Participating in Shotcall is simple and interactive:

  • Join a VCT Americas Twitch Channel: Tune in to any official VCT Americas stream on Twitch.
  • Activate the Overlay: Mouse over the video player and look for the red crystal ball icon in the top left. Click it and log in with your Riot ID to get started.
  • Make Predictions: Lock in your calls for upcoming maps, critical rounds, or clutch scenarios. Even if you minimize the extension, your predictions will still appear over the video.
    • If the extension doesn’t show up, check the Twitch extension controls on the right side of the video. Make sure Shotcall is set to “visible.”
  • Compete and Climb: Go head-to-head with other fans and rack up points with every correct guess, aiming for the top of the leaderboard.

Shotcall Beta Test Schedule

For now, this feature will only become available in the VCT Americas as it enters into a limited beta, with four scheduled Shotcall Fridays where you can test out the extension, compete, and provide feedback:

  • August 8, 2025
  • August 15, 2025
  • August 22, 2025
  • August 29, 2025

During the beta, there will be one special reward available across all sessions, with more to come as the feature expands to additional leagues and languages. So, keep up with the 2025 VCT Americas Stage 2 to start competing!

Note that Shotcall is still under development, and VALORANT Esports invites the community to help shape its future. Your feedback via Twitch chat, social media, and post-match surveys will be invaluable as improvements roll out.

Prepare to test your esports instincts, rack up points, and climb the leaderboard as Shotcall transforms VCT viewing into an interactive, competitive experience.
