This is it. The culmination of an entire year of VCT action will kick off when teams take the stage in Paris starting Friday, September 12th. Now that every Stage 2 regional champion has been crowned, it's time to take a look at the VALORANT Champions 2025 groups.

VALORANT Champions 2025 Groups

The groups have been drawn, spreading the four representatives of each VCT region into four groups, where they will have to fight tooth and nail to make it past the Group Stage for a shot at the VALORANT Champions 2025 trophy. Here's what the groups look like:

Group A

Group B

Group C

Group D

Unlike previous Champions iterations, this time around there is no immediately clear group of death. Despite this, Group D stands out due to a potential Masters Bangkok Finals rematch between G2 and T1. DRG and Team Heretics, meanwhile, are teams with very high highs, making this group incredibly hard to call.

Opening Matchups

Though the exact schedule is yet to be revealed, we already know exactly what the opening matches of each group will look like. Here's how each group at VALORANT Champions 2025 will kick off the action:

Group A Opening Matchups

  • Paper Rex vs XLG Esports
  • GIANTX vs Sentinels

Group B Opening Matchups

  • Bilibili Gaming vs MIBR
  • Rex Regum Qeon vs Fnatic

Group C Opening Matchups

  • Team Liquid vs DRX
  • NRG vs EDward Gaming

Group D Opening Matchups

  • G2 Esports vs Team Heretics
  • Dragon Ranger Gaming vs T1

While every one of these matches promises some high level VALORANT, G2 vs Heretics will no doubt be one of the most exciting matches to follow. Can G2 grab an early win and set the tone for the remainder of their Champions run, or will Team Heretics return to form just in time to stake a claim to the trophy?
