Adrian “Trymbi” Trybus, former Support for Fnatic and KOI, has now returned to the LEC after a brief hiatus in 2024. Despite not making the initial cut for active Supports in the LEC to start the year, Trymbi has quickly found himself called up in the wake of Team Heretics’ troubles in the Winter Split. Current Heretics’ support – Norman “Kaiser” Kaiser – will see himself subbed out ahead of the upcoming Spring Split.

Move first reported by Alejandro Gomis.

G2 2.0 – Not

Despite reuniting the fan-favorite top-side trio of Martin “Wunder” Nordahl Hansen, Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski, and Luka “Perkz” Perković, Heretics has continued to struggle in the LEC. Sequences of misplays continue to plague the roster, despite the presence of such esteemed veterans in the lineup.

Heretics’ middling finish for the Winter Split only serves as a testament to their inconsistency as a team, with some highs, but also plenty of lows. In time, it is possible that they would get their groove back. The last time all three played together on a roster was in 2020, over 3 years ago.

However, Heretics had come into 2024 as one of the most exciting rosters to watch, bringing equal parts nostalgia and excitement to a region that many have concluded belongs to G2’s dominion solely.

Trymbi is Back in Action

In one of the bigger plot-twists of the LEC off-season, Trymbi found himself teamless when the smoke of roster transfers had settled. Despite a solid performance on KOI, and once recognized as one of the most stable and promising talents in the league, the Polish support struggled to find his footing on the newly established Fnatic roster.

His free agency was the subject of great anticipation, as many suspected (which turned out to be true), that such a great talent would not be riding the bench for long.

Despite the move, Kaiser remains a part of Heretics for now. He is contracted to remain until November 2025 unless Heretics find him a new home.
