Team Spirit is the first team to secure a spot at the EWC finals. Courtesy of their clean 2-0 victory over Parivision. The series started out with a strong performance in game one, with an incredible turn around in the second game of the series.

A huge factor in Spirit's success was due to Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov performance in the second game, with two incredible Aegis steals.

There is a lot of credit to give to all members of Team Spirit. Denis "Larl" Sigitov practically carried the team in game one with Leshrac, while Aleksandr "rue" Filin created incredible space on Batrider.

In game two, Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naidenov's Refresher Orb rush on Silencer prevented Parivision from making any moves. But the star of the series has to be Collapse.

At the 38-minute mark, realizing that they cannot give Parivision a second Aegis, Collapse jumps in blindly and snatches it at the last second. This allows them to bring down Satanic without any response from Parivision and sets up Spirit for success.

After the series concluded, Collapse was asked about his incredible steals. He replied that he already had two Aegis' in real life, which is why he could steal two in a game.

"I won two TI's, so two Aegis steals. If the third Rosh respawns, I think I could steal third aegis."

Team Spirit becomes the first to secure a spot in the finals and a guranteed prize of at least half a million. They will face either Falcons or Tundra next. But for Collapse, he doesn't care who it is.

"Doesn't really matter I guess. We want to face anyone."

The conclusion of EWC will be on the 19th of July. Be sure to catch the finals on Twitch and Youtube for the thrilling finale.
