T1 has done it again. When the odds were against them, they flipped the script on Anyone's Legend to secure Worlds 2025 Semifinals.

T1 12-0 LPL

It has now become a Worlds custom for LPL teams to fall to Faker and T1. This time, the opportunity presented itself to Anyone’s Legend, the LPL juggernauts who had previously defeated T1 at the Esports World Cup.

Many considered them the biggest contender for the Worlds 2025 trophy behind Gen.G. Naturally, they were the favorites going into the match up, but T1 at Worlds is a different beast.

The series began with T1 taking an early lead, largely thanks to Faker’s Taliyah and Gumayusi’s Varus. AL answered back immediately, winning Game 2 on the back of Flandre’s Ambessa and his decisive engagements.

Game 3 was much closer. For most of the game, T1 remained in control, but AL’s crucial team fights around Elder Dragon helped them secure series point.

T1, however, refused to go down. In Game 4, they gained an early advantage and, despite losing multiple fights, managed to stabilize and force Silver Scrapes.

Game 5 was T1 fully understanding their composition and playing to its strengths. Despite AL’s gold lead, T1’s clutch objective secures granted them an early Hextech Soul. And they used the buff to roll through AL and clinch the Semifinals spot.

With this victory, T1 and Faker continue their undefeated Worlds Bo5 streak against LPL teams.

The streak will be tested again the day after, when they face Top Esports for a Grand Finals spot.

A Record-Breaking Series

During the match, Faker reached 1,100 kills and 900 assists on the Worlds stage. T1 also continue the streak of never dropping a quarterfinal series at Worlds.

The series was also the most-watched Worlds 2025 game so far, peaking at 3.2 million viewers.

This matchup concludes the Quarterfinals. The action continues tomorrow, November 1, at 8:00 a.m. CET | 12:00 a.m. PT with the Worlds 2025 Semifinals. For the first Grand Finals spot, Gen.G will take on regional rivals KT Rolster.
