G2 continue their expansion beyond the world of esports. After entering the world of traditional sports earlier this year by creating G2 FC to participate in the Kings League, the organization has now announced the launch of Red Aura, an original fantasy-action webcomic that translates the spirit and story of G2 into a new creative universe.

Developed in collaboration with Japanese Art Director Runbel and KISAI Entertainment, the studio behind webcomic adaptations of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Beginning After the End, Red Aura marks a new step in G2’s evolution from esports brand to global entertainment company.

Red Aura: A New World Inspired by G2's Legacy

Set in a world of magical nomads whose powers can alter reality itself, Red Aura follows Asa, a young girl determined to become the greatest Nomad of all. Blending fast-paced battles, emotional storytelling, and the kind of light-hearted humor reminiscent of shonen classics, the series explores themes central to G2’s decade-long journey in esports.

Each narrative arc draws inspiration from G2’s history, reimagined through fantasy storytelling that reflects the organization’s drive to overcome challenges on their path to success. This means you can expect themes like ambition, adversity, and triumph to be central to Red Aura as you follow Asa's growth and challenges in an all-original magical world.

“Red Aura is a reflection of what G2 stands for—chasing excellence, defying expectations, and embracing creativity. This story isn’t just for esports fans; it’s for anyone who values ambition and heart. With Red Aura, we’re venturing into a completely new space for G2, and we can’t wait for people to experience it.” –Sabrina Ratih, Chief Operating Officer of G2

When and Where Can You Find Red Aura?

Red Aura is officially launching today, October 31st, on WEBTOON's Line Manga for the Japanese audience. G2's new webcomic will also be arriving on WEBTOON's English-language platform soon, though a specific date has not yet been announced.

The first five episodes of Red Aura will be readable on launch, with additional episodes being released weekly. In total, the first season of the series will feature 40 episodes, which means there's plenty of story to look forward to.

With 2025 marking G2's 10-year anniversary since the creation of the brand, Red Aura creates the perfect opportunity for the organization to celebrate this milestone by extending their reach beyond esports and into the world of digital entertainment as a whole.
