Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage Round 2 Recap: T1 Falls to Dplus KIA and LPL Bounces Back

The second round of the Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage concluded on Saturday, October 24, with Dplus KIA defeating T1 and the LPL bouncing back with three wins. At the League of Legends World Championship, Gen.G, Dplus KIA, LYON, and Movistar KOI now have 2-0 records.

Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage Round 2 Results

Here are all eight results from Saturday, October 24, in the order the matches were played:

After all four LPL representatives lost their opening matches, the region recovered with three wins. Top Esports, Invictus Gaming, and Bilibili Gaming all won, while Anyone's Legend suffered its second loss and dropped to the 0-2 pool.

In the LCK, Dplus KIA came from behind to beat T1, while Gen.G defeated Hanwha Life Esports. Elsewhere, G2 Esports handed LOS its second defeat, leaving the Brazilian team at 0-2. LOS now needs three consecutive series wins to reach the quarterfinals.

Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage Round 3 Schedule and Start Times

Riot Games has confirmed the match order and start times for all eight Round 3 matchups at the Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage. The matches will take place on October 25 and 26, with the first game scheduled for 10 AM PT (12 PM CT) each day.

Sunday, October 25

• 10 AM PT / 12 PM CT (Bo1): Hanwha Life Esports vs Invictus Gaming
• 11 AM PT / 1 PM CT (Bo1): G2 Esports vs Top Esports
• 12 PM PT / 2 PM CT (Bo3): Movistar KOI vs Dplus KIA
• 1 PM PT / 3 PM CT (Bo3): Gen.G vs LYON

The series between Movistar KOI and Dplus KIA and between Gen.G and LYON are 2-0 qualification matches. The winners will secure their spots in the Worlds 2026 quarterfinals. Meanwhile, the 1-1 matchups will determine which teams move to 2-1 and which fall to 1-2.

Monday, October 26

• 10 AM PT / 12 PM CT (Bo1): CTBC Flying Oyster vs T1
• 11 AM PT / 1 PM CT (Bo1): Bilibili Gaming vs Karmine Corp

Day 2 features two elimination series in the 0-2 pool. LOS, Team Secret Whales, Team Liquid , and Anyone's Legend must win to stay alive at Worlds 2026. The losing teams will be eliminated, while the winners will advance with 1-2 records.
