A Successful 2026 for T1 Academy

The 2026 season has been a special one for T1 Esports Academy. After winning the LCK Challengers 2026 Season for the first time in five years, the team has now secured its first international title at the inaugural World Star Challengers Invitational.

In the Grand Final, T1 Esports Academy defeated Solary 3–2 in a closely contested five-game series. Despite another strong showing from the European side, the Korean powerhouse once again came out on top against European opposition.

At just 17 years old, Kim “Eclipse” Min-jun, the youngest member of the team, was named the series' Most Valuable Player (MVP).

October 2 was also a special day for South Korea, as the nation claimed the gold medal in the League of Legends tournament at the 2026 Asian Games.

The Korean team also featured players from T1's main team, including Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok and Ryu "Keria" Min-seok.
