In a dominant performance, SCARZ emerged victorious in the closed qualifiers in Japan, securing the sole spot available from their region for the Esports World Cup.

The closed qualifiers featured eight teams that had earned their places through rigorous open qualifiers:

The competition followed a single-elimination bracket format, with each match being a best-of-three series.

The Closed Qualifiers

SCARZ demonstrated their dominance from the outset, sweeping through the quarterfinals and semifinals without dropping a single map. In the quarterfinals, SCARZ dismantled DOPENESS with a resounding 2-0 victory, winning both maps 7-1. Their momentum continued in the semifinals against IGZIST, where they secured another dominant 2-0 win, making their way into the finals.

The grand finals saw SCARZ face off against CAG Osaka. Despite losing the first map, SCARZ quickly regained their footing. They overpowered CAG Osaka in the second map with a 7-4 win and delivered a crushing 7-0 victory in the final map Chalet, securing their place at the Esports World Cup.

Now that they have claimed their ticket to Riyadh, SCARZ will be focusing on maintaining their peak performance and refining their strategies. The level of competition at the Esports World Cup will be fierce, with top teams from around the globe vying for the title.
