It was a long few days of Rocket League but finally, the RLCS Major finals have come to a close. After running straight through the lower bracket and smashing the record for the longest ever pro overtime, Team Vitality emerged victorious. This was the first Major in Rocket League  history that didn’t have a North American team in the semi finals or beyond. Instead, MENA managed to take their place. Perhaps the stage is set for a regional takeover in Rocket League!

Semi Finals at the RLCS Boston Major

Vitality were one of 4 teams that made it through to the semi finals. Vitality were forced to work their way through the lower bracket after being knocked down by Team BDS. In a thrilling display of skill and determination, Team Vitality emerged as the unstoppable force in the RLCS Boston Major, finishing with an impressive 4 - 0 results against both Gen.G and Rule One.

This is no mean feat. Both teams are formidable. But it was Team Vitality's teamwork, ball control, and focus that won them the day in the end. In fact, during their series against MENA’s Rule One, Team Vitality broke the record of the world’s longest RLCS overtime. It took a little over 12 minutes of overtime for just 1 goal to be scored in this game.

While it might not seem like such a long time, the previous record of 10 minutes and 38 seconds was left in the dust.

RLCS Major Finals - Vitality got Revenge

In an epic showdown, Team Vitality faced off against Team BDS again. As one of the best revenge stories in RLCS history, Team Vitality triumphed over their fierce rivals, Team BDS, in the RLCS Major Finals.

The clash between these two powerhouse teams was nothing short of intense, with both sides pushing their skills to the limits. Fortunately, Vitality were the first to win 4 games in both the best of 7 series. In fact, Team BDS were only able to take 3 games in total in the RLCS Major finals. The atmosphere in Boston was very exciting after Vitality’s French team promised to be the ones to represent North America in the finals.
