PSG Talon emerged victorious in the South Korean closed qualifier, securing the sole spot for the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup.

The journey to qualification began with eight teams that advanced from the Open qualifiers:

The closed qualifier adopted a single-elimination format with each match played as a best-of-three series.

The Closed Qualifiers

PSG Talon advanced directly to the semifinals following a forfeit by PawnsRebellion in the quarterfinals, setting the stage for their clash against Mir Gaming. Demonstrating their dominance, PSG Talon swiftly secured a 2-0 victory over Mir Gaming, securing their spot in the finals.

In the finals, PSG Talon faced off against FearX in a high-stakes showdown. The series was tightly contested, with both teams trading blows. Each team decisively claimed their map picks with convincing 7-2 victories, leading to a tense decider on Clubhouse.

FearX initially seized control with a commanding 5-1 lead on defense, but PSG Talon staged a remarkable comeback, forcing the map into overtime and ultimately clinching the series 2-1 with an 8-6 victory on Clubhouse.

With this triumph, PSG Talon secured their place as the sole representative from South Korea at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh. Their ability on the big stage is already known throughout the Rainbow Six Siege landscape. And fans will be eager to see what they will bring to this grand event.
